  • Benzene Hydrogenation to Cyclohexane

    Benzene Hydrogenation to Cyclohexane

    CRI offers catalysts for the full hydrogenation of benzene to cyclohexane. Whether the customer’s needs are high selectivity for chemical grade cyclohexane, or simply benzene saturation for the motor gasoline pool, CRI has high performance catalysts to meet or exceed the customer’s needs.

  • Aromatic Saturation

    Aromatic Saturation

    CRI offers catalysts for the full hydrogenation of aromatics. These catalysts can be used to achieve aromatic-free solvents and oils. A full range of catalysts are available, giving customers options for treating a wide range of feed streams, from light oils to heavy solvents. The catalysts are designed to have the highest poison tolerance while minimising the potential for any side cracking reactions.

  • C4/C5 Hydrogenation for Ethylene Cracker Feed

    C4/C5 Hydrogenation for Ethylene Cracker Feed

    For C4/C5 complete saturation, CRI offers catalyst which makes efficient use of palladium, to minimise overall precious metal requirements while still meeting the customer’s activity requirements. In addition, CRI/Shell can bring in its own operating experience to optimise performance of these catalysts relative to the product’s effect on overall ethylene cracker yields.

  • Methanation Catalyst

    Methanation Catalyst

    CRI offers catalyst for the removal of CO and CO2 from e.g. hydrogen streams in steam crackers or synthesis gas streams by hydrogenation (methanation). CRI methanation catalysts have been used in numerous steam cracker plants for purification of hydrogenating gas (technical grade hydrogen).
